Finally, Hyderabad will get a Public University

ITMS (Institute for Technology and Management Sciences) will be established in Hyderabad on a 100-acre plot of government land that will be set aside for its establishment. There will be a federally chartered university located in the village of Ganjo Takkar in Hyderabad’s taluka of Latifabad.

The secretary of the Sindh Land Utilization Department, Danish Saeed, has also written a letter notifying the transfer of land.As stated in the letter, DC Hyderabad has been informed that land previously reserved for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been transferred to the federal government for the purpose of construction of an ITMS system.

Government College University Kali Mori is the first public university in Hyderabad, and a foundation stone was laid in 2019 by Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan.
